Private Tutoring Approach
The first step when you get in contact is to arrange a meet and greet to discuss the student’s needs. All tutoring takes place at my studio in Lenah Valley which is where we have the Meet and Greet, which is a free half hour session!
The Meet and Greet
The purpose of the Meet and Greet is to ensure everyone, in particular the student, are prepared and comfortable with starting the tutoring programme.
This is a chance to familiarise yourself with the environment, including the studio, parking requirements and pickup arrangements.
This is also an opportunity to review any previous activities and reports, and to discuss the goals for the student.
Individual Tutoring
9 or 10 weeks to match school terms
2024: Term 1
Starts 5th Feb and goes till 12 April – 10 weeks.
Available times
Morning and Afternoon sessions
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
7am, 8am, 3pm, 4pm & 5pm
Individual sessions
1 x 50 minute Session Per Week: $90 per week
2 x 50 minute Sessions Per Week: $170 per week
Group sessions (Matched students in a group of 2)
1 x 50 minute Session Per Week: $65 per student per week
2 x 50 minute Sessions Per Week: $110 per student week
Payment Terms and Conditions
5 weeks in advance cash or bank transfer
Attendance
A period of 12 hours notice is expected
in the event of sickness of the tutor or student and 1 credit will be issued by email. An additional tutoring session will be negotiated.
